Our Eye Doctor

Eye care professionals specialize in understanding how the human eye really works, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision – many of which do not have obvious symptoms. Eye doctors know how age and risk factors affect vision over time for young and old, and they understand the benefits and features of corrective lenses including eyeglasses and contacts.

Our optometrist takes the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing and treating potential vision problems.

Thomas B. Law, O.D.

Dr. Thomas B. Law has been practicing optometry for over 39 years. After graduating from the University of California at Irvine in 1974 with a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences, he then graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry with a 2nd Bachelor's degree in Visual Sciences, as well as Magna Cum Laude with his Doctorate in Optometry in 1978. Dr. Law served as the Chief of Optometry for General Med Healthplan in Pomona from 1978-1989 and then Optometry Department Chairman for Friendly Hills Medical Group in La Habra from 1989-2000.

In 2000, he joined Fullerton Eye Medical Center as a full-time staff optometrist and then assumed the ownership of the Colton Optometric Group in January, 2002. He continued as a part-time associate of Fullerton Eye and then the Mosier Eye Center through August 2015. At that time he left the Fullerton group to devote his full-time efforts to Colton Optometric.

Dr. Law enjoys providing eye care services to his many patients & friends in the Inland Empire as well as hearing their life stories and successes. He and his wife, Kimberly, enjoy running, bicycling, hiking and camping. They are fortunate enough to participate in a wide variety of church and community activities. They have a total of 7 children and live in nearby Rancho Cucamonga.
